Marine mollusks of Chile is a information site for biologists, fans, seashells collectors and all the interested ones in discovering and knowing the fascinating malacofauna of Chile.
 
 
 
 

To the present time an approximated total of 1070 Chilean marine live species has been described. The majority correspond to the Class Gastropoda (limpets, snails), secondarily to the Class Bivalvia (clams, oysters, mussels and scallops) and then to the Class Cephalopoda (octopi, squids and cuttlefishes).
