Aproximadamente entre los 45 y 55ºS, estando también presente en el margen Atlántico argentino y Brasileño, además, en el Atlántico Europeo: Portugal, España e Islas Canarias.   Approximately between 45 & 55ºS, being also present in the margin Argentinean and Brazilian Atlantic, also, in the European Atlantic: Portugal, Spain and Canaries Islands.

Se cree que esta especie colonizó Europa, adherida posiblemente a cascos de embarcaciones. 		  Remarks:
It is believed that this species colonized Europe, possibly in helmets of ships.
